![]() Over 2,000 volunteers are needed to help Mother Nature with a little spring cleaning in Clermont County. The East Fork Little Miami River Sweep and Clermont Clean and Green Collaborative have joined forces again to coordinate the event, set for Saturday, April 20, from 9 a.m. until noon at numerous locations across the county. “We have combined the events to increase participation and broaden the scope of the clean-up efforts,” said Becky McClatchey with the East Fork Watershed Collaborative. Volunteers will be provided with gloves, trash bags, a free picnic lunch, and a thank you gift. Those wishing to participate in the East Fork River Sweep will be provided with a free canoe (while canoes last). Anyone interested in helping with the River Sweep can register at www.ClermontSWCD.org, or call (513) 732-7075. All volunteers must sign a waiver form. To register for the Clean and Green sites, visit the website www.ValleyViewCampus.org or call (513) 218-1098.
