Sycamore Park Stream Splash, Batavia OH, Wed. July 17, 6:30 p.m. (part of the Junior Naturalist Program) – Cool off from the hot summer sun as we explore the East Fork of the Little Miami River. We’ll search for crayfish, snails and many other aquatic critters. Then discover what those bugs can tell us about the health of the river. Be prepared to get your feet wet. Paddling the Little Miami, Kelly Nature Preserve, Fri. July 19, 10 a.m. – Join the park naturalist along with staff from Roads Rivers and Trails as you enjoy the state and national scenic Little Miami River. We’ll meet at Roads Rivers and Trails in Milford and take a shuttle to Kelly Nature Preserve. Space is limited and pre-registration is required. Some paddling experience is preferred.
